Leonesse Cellars in Temecula

Nestled in the rolling hills and vineyards of Temecula's wine country, Leonesse Cellars offers a warm, enchanting setting where visitors can enjoy great wines, spectacular views, and wonderful times with family and friends. Leonesse Cellars was founded in 2003 by Mike Rennie and Gary Winder, who together have over fifty years of agriculture and grape-growing experience in the Temecula Valley. Their combined experience has lead to a true understanding of growing wine grapes of the highest quality, grapes which are concentrated, balanced, and ripe, ultimately producing wines of incredible depth and flavor. Among the wines produced at Leonesse Cellars are Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, White Merlot, Muscat Canelli, and Cinsault Port, as well as small lots of other specially selected varietals. Each of our wines is carefully crafted to preserve the subtle flavors and nuances of the varietal.

Wine Tastings at Leonesse Cellars

Leonesse Cellars wines are available at the winery and online. The wine tasting room is open to the public everyday from 10am - 5pm. The tasting room is a modern new facility with several high end books and knicknacks available to purchase. Leonesse Cellars offers several tasting options 6 tastes and a souvenir wine glass - $12 or 6 tastes without the souvenir wine glass - $10. Complimentary tastings for Wine Club members. If you want a VIP Tasting Call to reserve a VIP tasting in our private VIP room Monday thru Friday only $20.00 per person (10% discount for all Wine Club members) Includes 6 tastes, barrel sample, cheese and chocolate pairing

Block 5 Restaurant

Block 5 was named after Vineyard Irrigation Block number Five, that had to be removed to make room for their beautiful tasting room. Block Five Manager Nicole Blankenship, will cater to guests every need and ensure the best dining experience Temecula has to offer. The setting is undoubtedly one of the most breathtaking Wine Country has to offer and contributes to a lunch or dinner that will be remembered. Lunch and Dinner is presented in such a way that it feels like your fine dining. The attention to detail in the table setting, the ambience and the courteous, warm service, all make you feel like you are the only one being catered to. The menu features such items as Rib Eye Medallions, Grilled Lamb, Monterey Caesar Salad, Honey Curry Chicken with Flat bread and much more. Open Wednesday- Sunday Lunch: Wednesday-Sunday from 11:30am to 3:30pm Dinner: Friday 5:30pm to 9:30pm

Located off the beaten path and nestled in the middle of wine country, they offer the not so ordinary, true vineyard experience. Their beautiful tasting room and gardens sit perched on a hilltop, overlooking their 20 acre Cabernet Sauvignon Estate. Views stretch for miles right up to Mount Palomar and overlook over 70 acres of pristine vineyard. Create the memories that dreams are made of by having your wedding at our estate and let our professional and courteous teams cater to your every need. Leonesse Cellars can accommodate up to 200 guests and offer world class service, food and wine. Their Executive Chef working together with Winemaker, Tim Kramer, perfectly compliment each other to provide incredible culinary experiences for brides and guests alike.
