DOFFO WINERY
Doffo Wines in Temecula
Doffo Winery is not open to the public. Doffo Winery is an exclusive petite winery. The wines might be considered one of the best in the valley. This is the information from their website. As a young man, I immigrated to the US and began a new life journey. In 1995 I visted the old country in the northern region of Turin, Italy and discovered that my great uncle still made wine at home. I returned home anxious to try my hand at home-made wine. 2 years later, in 1997, I was awarded the silver medal from the Orange County Wine Society. The passion the exists within every bottle of Doffo wine originates from our italian ancestors who immigrated to Argentina in the early 1900's. My grandfather, Bernandino, settled in Pampas. Argentina is where he grew wheat, corn and raised cattle. I grew up on this land and it was there that my love and dedication to the art of cultivation began. The experience and honor sealed my fate and in this same year the Doffo vineyard planted its 1st crop of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz with a small percentage of Petite Verdot and Cab/Franc. Every step in the cultivation of Doffo wine is hands-on to acheive the highest possible quality. I am very proud to present this wine and hope you enjoy every glass with the same love from which it was created.
